“What I appreciated about Jim is that he didn’t hold back on the first rounds of creative concepting. He brought tons of options and ideas to the table. Every one of them excellent. He was effective at implementing and navigating our creative feedback and brought energy and excitement to the work and process. Perhaps, most importantly, sales are up, and we can attribute that to his excellent work overall.”

— Quinn Schwellinger, Vice President, Badger Hams

Badger ham

  • To stand out in a Wisconsin Market where Hot Ham and Rolls are weekend tradition. Since 1939, this family owned business has been making quality hams, smoking them over an open flame over sweet maple wood which gave them a reputation as one of the state’s top products. We were honored to be trusted with their family’s long-time tradition to update a brand that had been dated over a few decades.

  • With a nod to the brand’s typographical history, we modernized the wordmark and accompanying elements, updated and modernized the color palette, while retaining a traditional artisanal food brand. Harper’s Bizarre also crafted new sales materials, support pieces and in-store signage.

  • Sales went immediately up. As you can see from the quote below, the brand was ecstatic with the outcome and excitement of the new look, language and sales materials.
