Marble Distilling in Carbondale, Colorado was expanding their spirits from vodkas and gins into the whiskey category, while doing so at one of the most sustainable distilleries in the country. They needed a new bottle, labeling and language that would reflect an actual experience that took place at their family’s cabin. Spirit legends Proof brought us on to help bring it to life.

We worked with an amazing Russian artists to depict the experience of the family dog Hoover, who fended off a mountain lion who was attacking a baby deer the family was feeding. Hoover lost an eye in the conflict, but is immortalized in this popular Colorado whiskey.

With several expressions and growing, Hoover’s Revenge continues to be a mainstay and award-winner in the Colorado market.
